Re: Member Introductions
Hello, all. I'm the original owner of a first year model CRX 1.5L (1984) that's still running pretty well. 186K miles currently. Two repaints, lots of new plastic body parts, dash, headliner, etc. But no major mechanical failures. Engine, trans, clutch, original. As a formerly certified tech (way back), I have done all PM and repairs myself, except for when I rebuilt the carb (coolant leaking from insulator under the carb, so while I had it off...), then disconnected all the emissions stuff (big mistake!). An experienced Honda tech bailed me out on that. The carb was fine, but he had to reconnect all the plumbing.
Enough intro. Just bought a 2013 Accord Sport 6-speed manual, so it's finally time to part with the CRX. But that's a separate post. Thanks to the admins for allowing me to join. I hope to learn and share as I put miles on the Accord and join the electronic-everything car generation. Svenfran

Hello my fellow Honda enthusiasts! I am in the Hampton Raods area of VA. I have had a few Hondas, currently a 2010 Honda CRV that I bought new. Also a 97 civic EK sedan! My CRV is currently BONE stock (minus window tint). The EK has a B20B/GSR trans, quite a few bolt ons, and is my DD. Will post pics later down the road... Take care!

Hi everyone!! Ive been a lurker on here for awhile now and I finally decided to join. I run mostly circle track with my Hondas. The first is a 99 b18 integra and the second is a 94 h22a prelude. Ive also ran various CRXs and had decent success with them. I joined because these cars are so interesting to me and so I can ask questions from time to time and if anyone ever wants to ask me a question about maybe something ive learned in my experiences feel free to shoot me a pm or email and ill be glad to try and help.

Hey guys! I just bought my first Honda. It's a '95 Civic DX Coupe. I just picked it up 2 days ago for $1000 with 165,000 miles on it. It has a sputtering issue and an exhaust leak. I have determined that I am going to put a new distributor in it and according to the research I've done on this site, this will restore her to her former glory. When I first saw her, it was love at first sight. Sitting in it and then driving it, I could feel this was going to be a special relationship. I can't wait to get her running right again. She feels like a beast. Thanks to you guys, I've already learned a lot about my new Civic and am excited to be a part of the Honda-Tech family! Here's a picture of this pretty little thing to say hello!

Re: Member Introductions
Howdy to all from VA, Ive been into hondas for the past 4 years learning everything i can and i believe in DoItYourself or its not worth owning. Ive owned a 1997 Del-Sol RIP rolled it 8 times and only got a scartch, a 1991 Civic hatch which i sold and now have a 1989 Crx Si which has been my baby and working project in the middle of putting together a 1st gen B16A with a YS1 Gsr tranny to get around to build my other B16A from block up and possibly go turbo when money gets together. And hoping to learn from other peoples advice that have learned the hard way so i dont run into as much trouble and go smoother

Hi, I just signed up because I have found some good info here. And I have questions. I fix my own Honda Civic 1990 DX Wagon. Last Friday, my timing belt jumped a few notches and now I have to fix that. I have been fixing my car myself already for some time, so I am going to try. Just hoping the valves are not bend.

Hey what's up guys I'm new to the site and also looking for experienced
People to teach me a thing or 2, also I have a question for you guys. I have a 1996 acura integra LS with b18b1 in it, I want to speed up my car but need a lil help with what I should start with so far all I have I a full exhaust kit from headers all the way to the exhaust I also have a cold air intake, and also replaced radiator with a chrome one. I also have a tuned p28 by speed innovations and it seems to be doing good I haven't had any problems so far. So I was gonna buy 1000cc AEM injectors with fuel rail and fuel regulator, should I get them ? What would be the out come? Will I need a new fuel pump too? Anything helps HELP ME OUT!!!! Ohhh and the engine has all stock internals. I'm not sure if you can see my profile pic but that's m engine

Re: Member Introductions
Hello All,
I am very new to the upgrade hobby. I drive a 2001 Accord V6EX. I have installed an AEM V2 CAI, and also got new wheels and tires (17s). My next upgrade is rotors and pads...but I was thinking maybe using Acura TL parts instead. I will be asking tons of questions here and I am looking forward to hearing all the experts and learning from all who respond. Thanks and have a great day.
