Will I have to adjust the TPS sensor after A6/Y8 buildup GUARANTEED?
Meaning, should I go ahead and slot the two mounting rivet-looking things on the throttle body while the engine's out of the car now - knowing that I'll have to adjust the TPS to get it to read around .5V closed and 4.5V wide open, or is there a decent chance the engine/idle will be just fine without monkeying with it?
The throttle body is from a B-series Integra, '96 LS I think, A6 block, Y8 head and IM, and I'm using the original PM6 ECU and original firewall mounted MAP and EVAP solenoid. All sensors are hooked up aside from the fast idle valve that was on the A6 IM but not on the Y8, and the oil pressure sensor on the VTEC solenoid.

There's a chance that it would. But if you're like me, I don't like to take chances. Just at least slot the holes while the engine's out. If you throw the code, then you won't have a hard time taking it off. Just do it right the first time around.

Yeah, I don't relish the idea of having to try to Dremel two clean notches when the motor is already in (and the TPS is facing the firewall).

Any idea if using the EF original MAP sensor is ok with the new head, as long as it's plumbed in vacuumwise of course?

Hey thanks, but I think I confused you. I meant can I use the original MAP sensor (what's mounted on the firewall of the engine compartment by the EVAP in my CRX) instead of using the "new" MAP sensor that's mounted on the throttle body?
I know I can use the TPS sensor that came on the Integra throttle body and not have to pull the TPS off the old CRX throttle body and re-use that one.
