B-Series Throttle Body On D-Series IM ?s
So i got myself a B18 throttle body.[Ls]
I know it bolts up and i can throw it on there but my z6 TB has a FITV and the LS doesnt.
Should i be concerned about this??
Also, z6 MAP sensor isnt physically attached to the TB as to where the LS on is.
Again, should i be concerned with this?
And lastly, the LS TB didnt come with the TPS. Can i put the z6 one on the LS TB?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You cant bolt it up to a z6 manifold because of that reason. And you will get no performance boost from running a B18 TB on a D series IM without porting out the D series manifold to support it. And you cant run without a map sensor.

Wow, cuz im a total idiot and didnt know all of that, LOL. i know i have to port my IM. i know i need a map sensor. my question is that will it work though the map sensor is directly bolted onto the b seried throttle body. Because thez6 MAP sensors are bolted to the firewall or fuel filter or somewhere around there

ya yo cant really do it on a Z6 manifold unless you patch the TB for the Map sensor hole. And idk how the car is going to run without a FITV, it think its going to idle low as hell or stall until it warms up.

Well im throwing this out there. He probably has the firewall mounted Map sensor. My old lx had it that way. And i believe the DX does also. Only the z6 has the map on TB. So if he has any of the above models and swapped in a z6 that would explain his issue with the map.
