USDM B20 v. JDM B20 for boost?
I'm looking to do a B20/VTEC-Turbo. Through some research, I've come to the understanding that the US B20 bottom ends should not be used for boost applications...unless you change out pistons and rods. Would the JDM spec B20 bottom end be better for boost?

The only difference between the 2 is the cr,
JDM B20 is identical to the 900-00 B20Z
whatever you get its always a good idea to upgrade your pistons and rods, that is if you want your motor to last

What's wrong with your GSR Motor? B20\VTEC is mainly a N\A Motor, but when prepared properly will thrive on Boost. Although not anymore than a B18C1 Sleeved to 84.5mm. Building a B20 right is expensive...

I blew my GSR motor. The cylinder #2 wall is cracked all the way through and would be impossible to resleeve. That's why I'm looking into the B20 or LS bottom end.
