Hey guys just trying to figure this problem out, I get a TPS code from my comp sometimes. Here are the symptoms. hesitation at low rpm, and a missfire at any rpm under load, lots of backfire, smell gas all the time and bad gas mileage. I've checked all the connections from the tps and checked the voltage from the tps all checks OK. Even when I the cel is on this problem it still happening. I'm not sure what else to look for or is the TPS my only prob. I wouldin't think the problem would still be there when the cel is on this is what leaves me to think that more then just the TPS, aswell it will stall at idle "very rare" but has died pulling out in trafic which is why not driving the car. Here is my setup 97 Accord with h23, auto to manual conversion, obd2-obd1 conversion. CAI, Header Exhaust, MSD Coil.
