my car runs bad its trowing a tps engine code is that a problem ?
hey i have a problem with my car it runs bad when i start it up it runs good when i press gas it turns of and the idle wont go up at all.My engine is trowin a tps senzor do u guys think thats a problem i need help pls

Yes if there is a problem with the TPS the car will run like ****.
Tell me what year and make the car is and perhaps I can assist you better in troubleshooting the throttle position sensor problem. The TPS is typically located on the back of your throttle body - check the plug and make sure it's not broken or loose, and if it's okay then you may need a new TPS altogether.

if the tps is too far out of adjustment or bad it will throw a code. try adjusting it first before just swapping it out, also you will have to have the new adjusted as well.
