any info on this? the placeracing webpage isn't working so I can not look it up. Does anyone have this. it is supposed to make it so you dont have to cut the 2x3 hole.

yes, that is the purpose for it. I don't recommend it though because they are as not as accurate shifting.

h22a-cx had this, and has been having alot of problems shifting.

using the prelude shifter assembly is much better and accurate shifting.

Cutting the 2x3 hole will be worth it by doing that.

We used one to swap an H22 into an EK. Place told us that it was interchangeable for both chasis. It did fit but gave an ULTRA Short Shifter. We ended up using a super tall shift **** and the thing still only sits 3/4 **** above the plastic shifter bezel. In my opinion, save the money and bolt or weld the prelude metal shifter to your floor. I think 97+ preludes used a plastic shifter assembly, so make sure you get a metal one if your going to weld it.

I used the place racing box in my 97 dx coupe and i think it works great. Never have any problems going into gear or what not. It is a little short but you get used to it. But its whatever floats your boat. I let prelude guys drive my car and they sy it feels alittle better than thier ludes so who know. I would recommend it. Oh and it also cost $229 dollars.

HELL NO don't pay $229, i wouldn't pay $2.29 for that junk, just use the shifter plate, works ****, and save your cash for something else

thanks for the info guys... I will save my money then... I had a chance to get it for $100, but if it's not all that great, I will just spend that hundred bux on something else
