Default NO VTEC

I have finished a swap and now i have no v-tec...? My speedometer is not working and the speed sensor is plugged in and snug. Any ideas what it could be?? Its a B16a obd1 JDM motor into a obd2 99EK hatch...with a obd2-1 conversion harness?

too many factors.. wiring, oil pressure, vtec selonoid, pressure switch, any sensor that is needed to activate vtec. just start checking them one by one

i don't know if d's work with B's it was just a suggestion before you go buy one, if you have a friend with a civic try swapping them out, then you will know for sure before you buy anything

yes, a 92+ D-series VSS will work on a B-series engine.

ALso, what wire harness are you using for the swap and have you made necessary mods to it if its a non-vtec harness?
