Default Need Help! Running to rich and crazy idle problems.

Hey guys,
FYI, I have done plently of research... about my crazy idle problems. Just swapped in a b16a sir2 into my eg. Let me tell you what I did. I swaped my intake manifold to itr..and ported out the throttle body to 64mm from maxbore. The car starts good, but the idle is crazy. First i though it was the IACV but it wasn't because it's cleaned. The thing I was wondernig is, where does the map sensor plugs too on the Sir II? It's not on the throttle body. I don't know if reusing a cx harness would cause this because I did. I had to reuse it because it was a RHD harness. There is no check engine like at all, just that one wierd problem I'm having. If i unplug the map sensor, the car runs extremely rich which i think will mess up the engine. If I plus the map sensor to little tube on the TB, it will idle from 1.5 k to 3k back and forth. I really need this fixed..full time student and worker and I have no second car! thx..all help will be useful.

on the cx the map sensor is on the firewall so plug it up to that and run the line straight to the vacumm

the map sensor on cx was on top of tb.. The jdm b16a has nothing to mount it too. I'll take some pictures to make it easier, I'm thinking it's not my tps sensor since i'm not throwing any codes at all. In fact, it's a reuse from the cx which was working fine.

That's the thing, If i take off the map sensor..it will run extremely rich and the car will die out from the massive fuel.

BUMMMPP!!
okay, here's the thing..do you think a timing belt problem would cause this?
I drove the car and it runs strong, didn't sound wierd or anything..also no check engine codes. need help..

alot of things could cause it. but you'd definitely want that map sensor connected. make sure the plugs are correct. tps and map are the same style plug and will plug into each other so make sure the correct connector is on the correct sensor. i assume everything ran fine before you swapped the intake manifold? you probably have a leak somewhere.

Well the thing is, i swapped the intake manifold before i even swap in the motor..also i got the throttle body ported out. Also changed the timing belt and water pump. I'm assuming it's the intake manifold gasket..what's the torque on that? Also, I'm now throwing no codes so I'm sure all sensors are connected to the right one. Dangit, I will take pics tonight since I'll work on it agian at my buddies house.
