Need good Ideas
I have a 95 EX coupe stock (D16z6). Bought the car 4 months ago knowing I wanted to do something, but I am having a bit of a problem makeing the desicion of Swapping in a B18 , B16 SIR, putting a turbo on the D16. Just looking for ideas right now been reading about FI and its starting to make sense. I have always (I am gonna catch heat for this) looked at FI as cheating, but I cant argue with the results. would love to put in a B18c5 ( who wouldnt) or a H22 but for different reasons both are not likely. Well thats it I guess thanks in adv
ANY ideas no matter of cost right now would be apprec.

I went with a B18B swap into my 95 EX. I also looked into FI for my D16z6, but came to the conclusion that since my car was considerably heavier than all the 92-95 hatches, and yes even the Sedans, that a little more torque was in order. I figured that with the b18b i'm starting with more base TQ and Horses, and everyone i talked to said it was great for FI applications (Which i plan on doing in the future). It also fit very well into my budget (Which is'nt very big....lol). All together i spent about $1000 out of pocket for the swap (Sold my D16 to get the rest) and did the labor myself to save some cash...........
Good luck.........

Re: Need good Ideas (jabenne)
FI is definitly not cheating. Turboing a honda is probably the most difficult and expensive thing you can do!
Go with a b18c or b18b swap first, then think about FI later. If you want to go all motor get the b18c, not the b18b.
