Turbo D16Z6 will make more power than a B18B. But "better" is very subjective. Ask better questions and read the stickied threads at the top of the forum.

The B18B can make more power on stock internals than the D16Z6. If you need more information, visit the forced induction forum and read through some of the threads there

Yeah a good b18b will hold more boost. i have a turbo d16 on 9psi, stock block. I dont have a problem smashing Mustang GT's and such and it's my daily driver. Whatever you can get a good deal on is what i would get. as far as twin turbo's .........enjoy everyone

Not a large enough volume of exhaust gas to make a twin setup worthwhile. Stick with one and don't ask that question anywhere else. You've been warned.

Parallel doesn't work worth of ****. Think of it as 2 30mph fans next to each other blowing at the same thing, you still get 30mph, you don't get 60mph. That's why nobody uses them.
Sequential as you call it is different, that's what Archidictus was explaining. Either way you don't have the exhaust pressure to power both, just not enough exhaust pressure. Exhaust pressure spins the turbine, you divide it in half on a civic b/c of one header (opposed to headers) and it gets reassembled on the other side with paraellel TT's, but it's still not at full power, which means one turbo would make more b/c it isn't divided by two. With sequencials it's worthless as **** on a bull as well. You can spin the first but you'll have trouble spinning the second. Only bet with a twin turbo setup is to get the smallest turbo you can find and then the next step up as your 2ndary. Even that will work like ****. You're comparing apples to oranges with supras, skylines, and Rx-7's to honda civics...
A twin turbo setup would suck on a civic, that's why nobody uses them.
You have to be specific, what are your goals, what is your budget?
