need an END-all wiring for VX 5wire to 4wire chart w/Vx harness & P28 ecu
ok i mustve read 6 threads or countless posts on how its done, but with a vx harness with a DOHC motor, &/or various B series ECU's. It would be very very nice for the easiest o2 conversion for a obd1 VX 5-to-4 wiring conversion using the stock VX harness and either VX ecu; EX/Si P28 sohc ecu . . Pics also greatly help the electronically/anxiety impaired such as myself . Gracias

According to the linked to thread D16 is to be moved also. I haven't moved the D16 pin, but my setup is working flawlessly. No CEL's, good gas mileage - for some reason it is working, even though the factory service manual shows something different. I will look further into this and try and figure out why mine is working and it possibly shouldn't be. But, I will say that it does 100% work and I currently have no reason to change it -

I would suggest using the method that I came up with - simply because you will have to do it either way. Try it with only moving the Pin that I suggested and let me know if you have ANY problems - I'll be very supprised if you do.
Keep us updated - I'm off to try and figure out why what I have is really working....and has been for 35k miles!!!!

i tried that with my VX harness & p28 ecu... code popped up after i started it. Just bought a EX harness from wrecking yard...hope it works with stock o2 4wire plug & jdm intake manifold...i had to tap into a vacuum line from the fuel pressure regulator to the Purge vap which is usually mounted on the back drivers side of IM. ill get back

crap i just noticed my "eX" harness i bought has only 3 Connectors on the passenger side shock tower. the VX harness going from my P28 ecu to that shock tower on pass side has 4 connectors.

aaah ok, i got a lil worried there.i getcha now, it prolly was for that other egr thing by the head & vtec solenoid right? cool, i just have a code 14 now.
