Just swaped in a b20b, car revs by itself when you start....
i jus finished swapping my b20b into my DC4 integra and when i started up the motor it revs by itself. and i mean it revs all the way up there as if i'm flooring the gas pedal. the throttle cable isn't even hooked up, the car's in neutral, there's no axles on it yet. i did swap distrubutors so could it be that the distrubutor is too advance or retard? i thought it was the tps sensor but i tryed to unplug it and it still revs by itself. any help would be appreciated!

I had the same problem with mine in a CRX when I first started it. It was a vaccum problem. What Intake manifold are you using? Be sure that you have all vaccum lines hooked up properly. I used a 2G teg IM and hooked up those 2 wierd daspots(IM and TB) together...It just revved all the way up... Hope this helps...

yea, i think i have that same problem then, i used a intake manifold off a b18b which is pretty much the same as you. so it's probably a vacuum leak then huh? wat's that "daspots" thing u were talking about? i did check if it was the distrubutor and it's not that, i retard it ALL the way and still had the same problem. the problem is yet to be solved so if any1 else knows wassup lemme know

I used the old teg IM. It has to be one of the lines coming off your Intake manifold or TB. make sure they are all on right. The vaccum diagram would be the same as a G3 LS teg. You are not looking for a leak so much as one line being connected to something it shouldn't be connected to. On the old(G2)teg the TB had a dashpot and the IM had a dashpot...If you hooked them together car would just rev all the way up...Get a friend and have him sit in the car, when you make a change, have him start it. This is the fun part of hybriding...all the misc. BS you have to deal with afterward!!! Good luck you'll find it! P.S. if you have a friend with an LS teg ave him pop the hood.

hmmmm....... actually, i think i know y it does that, it's called me being stupid/ghetto, haha. i jus remembered that instead of using a GASKET for the intake manifold i got gehtto and lazy and jus used a sealer crap on it. so i'm guessing that's the problem right there. HARDCORE vaccum leak. hehe. that should be the problem huh?
