I need info on civic motor swaps!
Would it be better to go a little cheaper and stick the SI B16A1 in my EX or go ahead and get the GSR B18C1? How much difference in power would the GSR motor have over the SI motor in my civic?

"ill handle this one Guys" first of all welcome to ht iam glad your here, but try seraching somethign before asking a question. This question has been covered so many times. But to answer your question, if you have the money i would go with a gsr, the b16 is just something your gonna get tierd with and then not know what to do. A gsr you will have more tourque and more hp right off the batt, and then you can take it so many more places later in the future for example N/a or Turbo either way you will be better off with a gsr. Now if you really got the money go by a b18c5 and then you will really be happy, but in the future if you wanna go turbo its gonna be alil more difficult cause you kind if kill the n/a power of the type R. So it really all depends what you wanna do, but the gsr is gonna be more worth it then the b16. and if your strapped for cash i would do a b20 turbo..or soemthing else. BEcause your gonna miss the tourque, the b16 motor really lacks in it. And if you search you will see people get tierd of them

I have a fully GSR swap for sale. The motor has 300 miles on it and is fully built for turbo.
