What's a better motor guys? A d16y7 or d18y8??

Which route should I take for my swap? I'm swapping them into a 1991 integra with a b18a1 with auto transmission and am doing a manual swap

So what will I need?
What route is better ??

 

D16y8 is better because its vtec.


Why would you wana put a single cam into an integra

 

Then what engine should I put in ?

 

What do you want out of your car? Drag race,auto x,daily driver.

 

Daily driver tuned out a little

 

Then keep your b18a1 and do a vtec head conversion.

Or keep the b18a1 make sure its healthy (good compression) and slap a turbo kit on it

Fuel pump walbro 255
Rc 650 injectors
Arp head studs
New headgasket
And get it tuned

 

And what tranny would you say to put in ? I want to do a auto to manual swap so what would I need ?
