Default have to rev the car when first starts then idles ok

swapped a jdm single into a 92 hatch and i have to rev the car wen i first start it or it will die but after i rev it, it is fine... also there is a real loud whistle noise coming from the throttle body/ intake manifold? any ideas of why this is?

Sounds like a vacuum leak to me.

yeah thats what i thought too.. the thing is i cant find a leak.. also the fuel pressure is about 35 or so and it runs rich.. im confused

Hook up a boost gauge and check your vacuum pressure...

Thats what I did to check mine

where shud i hook the boost gauge onto? just any vacuum line rite?
