Default Preparing for POWER! (jdm h22a) ???

ok, i drove my friends h22 powered eg6 last night and the thing is nuts! i want that motor now.

i have a 95 civic. obd1
i want a jdm h22a motor out of the 97+ SiR S Spec Lude. obd2 i believe.

my friends said i should get a 95 prelude motor because it is stronger and its obd1. thing is, the h22a from the 97 sir s spec is 20 more horse. and i want that.

but how do i know what motor came out of what car if i buy from a site like hmotorsonline.com ??

please help, and don't flame.. i already searched. i want opinions from you guys.

i bought my h22 from hmotorsonline....

I'd suggest saving the headache and getting the obd1 92-95 h22 being obd1 as well as a closed deck block.

I'd definitely get the LSD equipped one as well.

Osaka motors also has great prices for that.

Hmotorsonline also has the Euro R h22. Cheap too. It's basically the same set-up as the type-s, with the single runner intake manifold. Caution though, I'm doing this swap now and it's a pain. It doesn't have a belt driven power steering pump, the gear select pattern is reverse from normal, the list goes on...
It's limited slip too

i somehow want to keep my p/s and a/c. it gets hot in ct for some reason. lol.

i'm most likely going to get a 92-95 jdm h22a from hmotors when i get the money. i want the lsd too . i'm also probably going to get the HAsport mounts as well. any deals anywhere for under $559?

i really have no money right now. i just bought a car cover for my civic. and i had to replace the oil pan and tranny in my beater because i hit a rock and the crank started hitting the dented and leaking oil pan. so i figured it'd get it fixed.. haha

Go with place racing mounts then you don't have to cut anything DSS stage 1's, %20 off PR mounts, %10 off DSS axles let me know...

With the DSS axles you can also use the lude intermediate, stage 1's 225hp stage 2's 450, thats whp/w LSD

if i got hasports i'd have to cut something? i think if i get the place mounts i'll take you up on that discount offer i'm broke as it is.

as for the axles.. what are the prices for stage 1 and 2? i plan to make more than 225hp so maybe i shouldnt get stage 1?

Just take the money saved from the difference between the type s motor and the bb1(92-95) motor and put it in skunk 2 cams, intake manifold and a nice header. Will make nice power and good deal. Laters

i think i might do that. but i can't decide on a good header. i'm thinking about the DC route but i'm not sure. i have a GReddy header on my car now and it seems pretty cool.

get the hotshot race header. I heard it is really good for 2.2 swaps.

its a race header. i don't have a track car. i would get it, it seems like its really good but i might go with either another greddy like on my current motor or just get a dc sports. i havn't decided yet. i could always get no header. and save up for a nasty turbo manifold for my 2.2 ej1 but i'm poor
