Does anyone know the diffrence between the different type of prelude engines?
I have a 93 del sol, witch i just purchased a H22a to be installed, i was wondering how can you tell if its a JDM, i mean the difference in a H22, H22a, H22a1, and an H22a4?
Any help, would be greatly appreciated.

what I know the H22A1 is the JDM.
The H22A4 is the US-engine.
And the H22A5 is the Europe-engine.

Somebody correct me if i'm wrong

what is the h22a7, and the h22a8, i have an h22a what is this also?

h22a1=usdm obd1
h22a4=usdm obd2

not true... i have an h22a1 thats obd2, the difference between the a1 and the a4 is that the a1 has a closed deck and a4 has an open, there is also a difference in bearing sizes

h22a4-usdm open deck
