Default engine rebuild

just wandering what all seals will ned to be replaced before swapping in a engine. IT is a b18c1 that i got from an importer, i just dont know exactly how long they sit before being shipped, and dont want to have to do it later on when the engine s in the car. Any diagrams or pictures would be helpful. Also if anyone has any links on how exactly to perform a b18c1 swap on an eg body; Please post them!!

Im sure im not the only one who wants to know

thanx

with jap spec motors, its always safe to replace the timing belt, water pump, valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, oil filter, change tranny fluid, plugs, wires, pcv, clean the throttle body. depending on what you have for exhaust... it may or may not bolt up, but make sure to have a contingincy for exhaust. More times then not you have to go to a shop to get a pipe shortened, or lengthened.

In terms of performing the actual swap:
very easy, just make sure you have all the necessary mounts (2 front mounts, top tranny mount, top engine mount, rear tranny mount) axles, shift linkage. all you need to do is add the wires for vtec, oil pressure, IAB's, and O2 and you are rocking.
