Did a B16 swap last week and engine is smoking
I recently did a JDM B16A swap into my 94 VX its a week old. In the mornings, when I first start up my car it smokes and the exhaust smell is pretty strong. The smoke comes out white, but only until the car gets warmed up. I'm not burning any oil or losing any coolant. Once I start driving the smoking stops, but at every red light or stop sign, I can smell the exhaust fumes. I'm not sure if I have a blown headgasket, running a little rich, or it's just the "smog" of a JDM engine. Someone give me some idea of what I'm going through.

Re: Did a B16 swap last week and engine is smoking (smart monkey)
I'm pretty positive it's not just condensation because it goes away after the car gets warmed up. As for codes...I'm throwing a 41. Which is an O2 sensor thing i think. I also dont have a knock sensor in yet. Could that code be the reason?

well condensation goes away after a car warms up. as for the code 41 that is why the car stinks. the O2 is not hooked up or not working. the knock not being hooked up is not good also. that can hurt the performance
