CRX SI B18A1 Distributor question
I drove this car with a hacked wiretuck job the PO did and it almost caught fire . Well I have all new harnesses in and my ecu jumper, I'm stuck on rewiring the Distributor he cut the plugs and straight wired it. It's a td86u on a obd1 swap B18a1. Anyone care to show me how to wire this up to my SI harness? Thanks in advance!

Re: CRX SI B18A1 Distributor question
The ecu is obd1 with a jumper. The distributor is obd2 according to wiki. The car ran with this dist ecu combo already I drove it like this for awhile, he just had the plugs cut and wired.

Re: CRX SI B18A1 Distributor question
So now I am completely confused... I got the dizzy wired up and it wouldnt start just cranks over.
I have a obd2 Dizzy,Obd1 ECU and Obd1 Injectors.... This car ran with the old hacked wiring harness with these parts and no resistor box. Only thing I can think of is I may have wired the dizz wrong. All grounds are good as well.

Re: CRX SI B18A1 Distributor question
Update, checked for spark and I have it so I shot a tiny bit of ether into the intake and bam it started for a few seconds and died. I can hear my fuel pump so i'm guessing injectors? [IMG][/IMG]
This is the green plug that is supposed to go to the resistor. But im using obd1 injectors so I was told to splice them together.
