HELP! Brake problem w/ ITR 5-lug suspension swap
Ok, replaced the suspension on my 95 ls with 98 JDM spec ITR suspension. Also have replaced rotors with brembo slotted+drilled on all 4 wheels, performance pads, steel braided lines and stepped up to a 1" master cyl+booster. brakes have been weak ever since. I have to use the e brake to stop. have bled the system twice, incuding the ABS, no leaks apparent. does anyone have a clue as to whats wrong w/ my brakes?
Also whats the deal w/ energy suspension not making a bushing kit for ITR?

Sounds like the linkage is not depressing the master cylinder completely or the portioning valve has air in it.

"HELP! Brake problem w/ ITR 5-lug suspension swap"
I just finished doing my 5 lug swap and was trying to figure out why my brakes arent as sensitive as they once were before the swap. Bled the system twice and still not like it was.
Are they any upgrades to the MC or the brake booster needed when swaping to itr brake system??
btw:swap went into 2000 Civic em1
Thanks guys

Re: HELP! Brake problem w/ ITR 5-lug suspension swap (Stoich EG2)
started with the rear farthest from the MC the 1st rear passenger, 2nd front left, rear driver, front passenger. Pumped the brakes about 5x we probably did 5 reps on each line. The whole time adding fluid when needed. let me know thanks

Try bleeding in this order:
Rear Passenger
Rear Driver
Front Passenger
Front Driver
I know the Honda's have a diagonal system, but for some reason I was having the same problem with my GSR swap until I bled in this order. Now my breaks are much better. Just try it.

we did hold the pedal while letting out the fluid.

I think my problem might be because I have to upgrade my brake Master cylinder hopefully thats it.

There is play towards the top of the pedal the brakes dont start grabbing till half way down the pedal. I also noticed when I let off the brake sometimes at a stoplight I hear this croaking noise. Im not sure if that noise was there before but it kinda sounds like the noise when I was pumping the brakes the last time we bled the system. any thoughts on that? thanks

"Youre using larger calipers than before.
Your 7/8 MC is too small...get an integra 1" or 15/16 MC (recommend the corresponding booster too)
I wrote a how-to on this swap - search for it"
Someone please confirm. Are there any pro brake bleeders out there?? My brakes suck help

I starting playing around with the brakes once i got home i noticed when the car is off that if you keep pumping the brakes the pedal eventually gets firmer mine didnt plus it makes croaking pumping sounds. i cant think of anything else.
