B18C5 in my Si
i swapped a b18c5 for my b16a2 but i still have my b16 ecu. i'm lookin for sugestion on what to do? i want to raise my rev limiter. i was thing about getting the mugen n1 ecu, or doing a obd2 to obd1 conversion and getting an ecu remapped. what would be better?

I wouldn't get a complete replacement... You would probably be best off with either a chipped P28 or an ITR ECU.... Is your motor pretty stock... I don't like a lot of the Mugen and Spoon progs.... I put a Mugen1 in my friend's PR3 for his GSR/CRX and it runs like ****... it's programmed for 4500/8500 which is a little too low and bogs the car when you take off... I've noticed the same thing with a lot of the Mugen progams.. My swapped my friend's 96 hatch with a 98 GSR motor CTR intake cam (no sprockets) and a SK2 manifold.... He was just running a stock GSR (P72) ECU when he ran 13.29 but he just got an USDM ITR and he said that it feels a lot better on top end than the GSR... My swapped my other friend's EG with a GSR motor that is basically the same as the first one I just told you about and he's not happy with that stock ECU so i'm probably gonna chip a P28 for him when i go home for X-Mas break this next week... I'll let you know what he thinks after... Peace

Re: B18C5 in my Si (JDMspecEG6)
all i have done is cai, mugen exhaust w/ custom 2 1/4 inch piping, skunk2 retainers and springs. i plan on getting a header but don't know which one to get. i prefer to stay all jdm. i was thinking about the mugen but its a bit expensive, so i might go w/ a jdm itr header.

And the chipped P28 from kenji works better with bolt ons.

JDM ITR headers are pretty good.
