Default B18c1 SWAP, whats best year?

I want to swap a GSR motor and tranny into my 93 civic coupe EX but I dont know what year would be the best to drop in? Any thoughts?

any year is fine as long as you use the right ecu. since the car is OBD1 use a OBD1 P72 the motors through the years are all about the same with the exception of some sensors. the newer the engine better since it will have lower miles. however using a jdm gsr from the 94-95 teg is good to use also. I don't know if you have stiff smog laws so check info in regards to the various emmissions hookup.
