Basic 6gen wiring info here:
http://www.jspectuning.com/6gen/

If you use your OBDI ecu then you'll need the OBDII to OBDI ecu converter harness since the plugs are different.

You should stay with an OBDII motor though.....

I know in the State of California it is illegal to put a motor that is older than your chassis into your car. I don't know about Connecticut though.

Good Luck

Default Easier Way...in a way

Here is what I think would be far easier for you than all of that ECU harness adapter stuff. Why not just swap the distributor, engine wire harness, alternator, and a few other things with OBD2 equiptment. Then you dont have to wire anything too crazy since your chassis is OBD2 already. You will only have to wire Vtec and Knock Sensor. My TypeR swap was wired OBD1 for a while to avoid wiring headaches, but it was really easy to change everything to OBD2 on the motor. Just a thought.
