okay, hybrid experts...which ecu to use w/ obd2a wire harness?
i have a 96 civic hatch and i'm putting in a 2000 gsr motor which i bought from a friend. the swap came complete minus the ecu. I have a 96-98 ex(obd2a) wire harness which i'm going to use on my swap. Now my question is, should i run a pigtail obd2a to obd2b ecu; or can i find and use a obd2a ecu w/ my obd2b motor?

I would go ahead and stick with OBD2b cause of the motor.... a nice GSR motor with CTR cams and a P73 ecu would be pretty nice

its a preference issue. just take the risk of a faulty jumper harness, its happened to me. I would use an OBD2a ecu.

on my previous swaps, i usually just switch everything over to obd1 to make things easier for me...is there a difference in the performance of the motor?...check engine lights?...anything i might be missing?
