B18C1 Into 00 EM1
I have a complete 1996 B18C1 engine that I want to put into a 2000 Civic Si. I DID search and haven't found exactly what I'm looking for. I have both the B16A2 harness and ECU and i also have the B18C1 harness and ECU. I want to run the stock manifold. Can i just use my GSR harness and ECU without a problem or is it better to run the Si harness and add wiring/vacuum lines needed to have the IABs working properly.

the integra harness won't work anyway. 96-00 civics have a 1 piece harness into the cabin. just run the wire for the iab's and you should be done.

Yeah there are. 96-98 civics and 96-99 integras are obd2a, 99-00 civics and 00-01 integras are obd2b so if you want to use a 96-99 GSR Ecu you need an obd2b to obd2a jumper harness to plug the Ecu up

Keep things simple.......
- use the complete B18C1 engine
- reuse your original engine harness
- if i were in your situation, i'd upgrade the intake manifold
- if you have the 96 b18C1 ecu, get a jumper harness and it will plug right in, plus no having to worry about messing with an immobilizer found on newer obdIIB ecu's
