B16a2 in a DA
Yes, i have searched but did not find what i was looking for.
Okay, im swapping b16a2 civic si(99-00) motor in my 92 integra.
I was needing to know what parts i need to be able to run a p28 ecu.
Do i need any adapters.
the integra is obd1 and the motor is obd2.
Also the ecu i have for the swap is a p28(obd1).
How can i make that work.
Or is this not even possible

You will first want to have it chipped to a DOHC VTEC program. You don't want to use the ECU on a B16 with the stock P28 program. Aside from that there are no other parts needed, just add the extra wiring for the VTEC.

No it will be direct plug and play since your car is OBD1. You will need to add the wiring for the VTEC solenoid and pressure switch.

Its a fairly common swap. You will need a cable clutch trans or adapter. The da ls tranny will work but the engine will feel doggy because of the wide gear ratio spread.use the search and read for a few hours, lots of info there.

Re: B16a2 in a DA (NJIN BUILDR)
the swap comes with a gsr tranny.
Alot of people are telling me that the b16 tranny will work better, better 1/4 mile time. they say the b16 tranny has shorter gears.
I dont feel like having to get another tranny.
Only if i have to.

Re: B16a2 in a DA (b18tegg)
Remember there are two styles of clutch actuators cable and hydraulic. The da is cable. Most gsr trannys are hydraulic. If its a hydraulic tranny you should be able to trade with someone with a cable b16.If you got a cable gsr you got a rare piece (b17a integra only).
