Default vtec ecu with a non-vtec motor

ok my friend has a d16y7 and he is wanting to get a turbo but the ecu is being a pain cuz he cant find any were to chip his ecu so you guys know if he can use like an ex or si ecu

He can't chip a y7 ecu. Tell him to get an obd2 to obd1 conversion harness (74 bucks) and I'll sell him a chipped non vtec ecu.

Chipped P28 is the answer for most folks.

A waste of a P28 IMO.
