B16 Speedometer Gear in Type R Transmission
I'm putting the Type R transmission in my EF that already has a B16A installed. The speedo cable will go into the Type R transmission; however, the slot for the spring clip is too far up on the cable for it to actually stay in place. Does anyone have any solutions for this or does anyone know if I take the speedo gear/shaft out of the b16 Tranny and install it in the Type R transmission if it will work?
