Default 99/00 Wiring Harness?

I'm putting a b18c1 into 96 EK being that SI are wired for VTEC would it be easier just to use the b16 harness then modify the stock harness?

No, 96-98 civic harness are not the same, it will not work (plug and play). For less wiring, get a 96-98 EX harness.
