Which harness..?
hey guys
doing a swap into a 99 civic ex
the motor we got is a 96 jdm b16 ob2a
right now the wiring harness from the civic doesnt plug into the jdm ecu we got and it also doesnt plug into the dizzy on the b16....
can you guys please tell me the best wiring harness to use for this swap..96-98 harness..
i though about using the...96-01 harness..but its a 2pc..

easiest thing to do is see if anyone will trade you your 2a ecu for a 2b. if not use your harness and get a 2a to 2b jumper.

Use a 99 Si harness and an OBD-2B to OBD-2A jumper. It's possible to convert either harness to work, but it's also kind of a pain in the ***. If you want it plug and play, then use the Si harness and the jumper.

well the thing is..if we use the ex harness thats on there now...the dizzy wont match up...i though about switching plugs but the b16 plug is 9 wires and the ex plug is only 8 wires...can we get a harness from a 96-98 civic? and just wire vtec, and knock wires...?
or the way kendall mentioned will work..but damn isnt hard to locate an SI harness..?
