Default b18c1 into 98 EK wiring harness?

Okay, I'm posting this becuase everywhere I read I get something different. I'm swapping the motor from a 1997 Integra GSR into a 1998 Honda civic DX hatchback. I have the integra and am going to pull the motor out this weekend. Can I just unplug the engine harness from the integra and plug it in to the civic? Or do I have to get a totally different harness?

you can't use an integra harness. ek harnesses are 1 piece to the ecu. you'll have to rewire your stock harness, or use an ex harness and just have to add some wires.

Can I use the harness from a 2000 civic ex? Or does it have to be 96-98? And, does it have to be from a manual trans since mine is manual or can it be from an auto.

00-99 si harness is your best bet.

your stock harness will work though, check the stickies at the top.
