Default 97 Hatch With H22 Help

I just Finished Gettin It Started and I went to drive it and I have a very bad vibration in the front. Its not a motor mount vibration. It feels like an axle problem. Im usin 90-93 integ axles and 90-93 accord half shaft. I have very low springs almost 5 inch drop could that be a reason, mabye the axle is twistin too much up? The faster i go the stronger it gets....

Cool you got it running and set.. Yeah, sounds like due to the drastic drop (5 inches you say??) that the axles are having some issues with that.. Sound right?

Only way to find out is the raise the car up a little and see if it goes away.. Also do you feel the vibration more when you turn a certain direction.. Like left or right??

With that kind of drop the wheel MUST be rubbing on something! Fender, suspension? Is there a Camber kit in there? If not the top of the wheel might be hitting on the inner fender well.

You need custom place racing axles for the h22 swap. Im not exactly sure of the reason but we had to get them on our 97 h22 civic race car. i think they are like 275.00

you only need custom axles if your using the place racing kit. all others use the 90-93 stuff.
H22Civ axles should be parallel to the ground. or you will get vibrations and break axles more often.

drive shaft shop stage 2. still holding for me. i've been through three sets of axles, placeracing customer service 90-93 teg, i even made my own, by putting two sets of teg and prelude axles together. nothing held up untill the DSS stage 2 were put in. now no problems with bracking axles. still have a vibration around 30mph or so can't seem to get rid of that one.......

What mount kit are you using? Do you drag race much? Do you have a LSD? Or anyother kind of racing?
