00 Si motor in a 97 CX....Problems
I flipped my 2000 Si on saturday. I am buying a 97 CX today ( Friday )Ive been researching the swap and the only problems ive seen is the wiring harness? how do i go about taking care of this? Also what motor mounts do i use? I know this is a very common swap. If there are any other problems i will encounter let me know. Thanks.

Just get a 96-98 Ex harness if you don't want to do any wiring. I think with the CX harness all you need to do is run the VTEC wires, and a knock sensor wire. Oh, and you probably won't want to reuse your 00 Si ECU. If you do, you will have to completly rewire your ECU plugs.

Ecu: you need to find an OBD II B16 del Sol ecu if you want to stay OBD II..
if not, buy an ecu conversion harness and go with a chipped p28 (92-95 ex/si ecu)
Mounts: Just take every single mount off when you pull the motor out of the Si.
Plug and play.
Wiring harness: As said above, use a 96-98 ex wiring harness. Extend/add the right wires and you're good to go
