one is not better then the other...
but if you think abotu it, the American mind set is torque, displacement etc.. we U.S.A folks think BIG... hense 454, 483, 572 big blocks... unlike the rest of the world who can hold there own with more efficent units under the hood.
so the F22 came in to make up for the "torque'less" of the F20C for the U.S Market while everyone else was not complaining about the torque like Americans.
now look at it form a marketing aspect.... why offer the same car world wide with almost the same engine yet different displacement??? might as well just off the same "torque" all the way across the board....
