RHD Conversion...
got a 98 ex shell that im gonna be working with and i am considering the idea of make it RHD. Now ive heard/read the arguments that it makes no sense in a LHD contry "bla bla" or "it lowers resell value bla bla" and even the it wont make your performance better "bla bla". lol
My question is
A) What do you guys think of them? Is It Worth It?
B) Anyone who has done or knows someone who has done one.. what kind of headaches did u run into during it? what advice would u lend someone about to attempt it after doing yours?

Ive seen tons of people start and get an amazing ammount of work done and then give up. I have also seen people who have done it and would never do it again. Its just a ton of money and effort for little back. You also gotta wonder how safe you car after you cut it in half at the firewall and then put it back together.

Re: RHD Conversion...
I know a guy here who just cut his firewall out and then welded the new firewall in.. that is on his Crx he's even putting the glass top on it, he's got the firewall done and started the top.. it's really just if you are willing to go through the work and everything.. as long as you buy everything you should be ok.. The guy here does A LOT of work and has all the tools to do it.. if you have all the tools and have all the stuff then you shouldn't have too much of a headache.. make sure you take ur time and do everything correctly..

You could probably buy a RHD for like 7k or so, the money you will spend on tools and getting it street legal, etc would probably be equal. Youre better off getting a RHD in here.

Re: RHD Conversion...
I think it is a ridiculous level of effort for what you get... I mean all of that time and money just to sit on the other side and shift with your left hand...? When I see one I just don't see the point and I don't get that "Mad Tyte JDM" Euphoria that others seem to get. Think of all of the other things you could spend your money on. You could probably have a pretty nice car when it is all said and done...

Re: RHD Conversion...
good luck getting it regged after you do that. Lots of states are ****ing people over with RHD cars now. Namely taking away there registration and not allowing them to register it in the country anymore. You may want to check with your local DMV before even starting to see if it is legal in your area.
