What am I getting into?
I've always been one for screwing around with stuff, and I wanted to build something cool this summer so I've acquired a front end damaged but rust free 1997 Civic Si, a 2000 Civic SE with really bad rust on the rear but the front is flawless for parts, and a 2000 CR-V that no longer has a floor from rust but runs great, all of them are manual transmissions.
I also bought a 1992 Integra RS but it's so clean I don't want to destroy it with an AWD conversion so I found these Civic's that need work instead.
The goal is to build a mild all engine B20Z AWD Civic but I have no idea what I'm getting into. I'm not very familiar with working on Honda's because all of mine in the past have never broke down (stupid reliable cars..) anyway, I've been reading a lot about this and I'm not even sure where to start, what would be the best approach, strip the CR-V? Strip the Civic Si? I'm not sure where I should start this spring once the snow is gone so I can start digging into these. What do I keep from the CR-V? It's a complete running and driving vehicle so essentially I would assume this could be easily classified as a CR-V "body conversion" swap because I don't think that any of the D series stuff from the Civics will work on the B20Z, correct?
Here's all three sitting out at my property waiting until spring
The 1997 Civic Si
The 2000 Civic SE
So, give me some suggestions on how I should approach this. What would be some fun idea's and routes to attack this plan on the spring?

Re: What am I getting into?
Do a search on this forum for AWD builds, I have read a few good ones. Read through their build threads a few times. Maybe post some questions in there. That should help a lot. There also is a kit being made right now and a current thread on that in this same section. Read through that thread a few times and research the kit. Maybe post questions on that thread too. Figure out who knows what they're talking about on those threads and send them a few PM's. That should help a lot.
