Retuned. Now running warm and no heat... thermostat??
Long story short I recently changed turbos and a few other little things and had my car retuned Friday. Car ran fine and still does but now, 4 days later, car is running warm (now avg. 4 bars going to 5 vs. used to avg at 2 bars going to 3 occasionally if I got caught at a long light or something) and I have no heat. I checked my coolant and the radiator was a little low in the radiator and the overflow was empty. I topped off the radiator and filled the overflow tank a little bit but no dice. I'm thinking thermostat? I am running the modifry unit with my AEM so there's a possibility my tuner changed how many degrees each bar represents but I doubt he would do this without asking or at least telling me he did plus the fact that my heat is gone leads me to believe there's definitely more to it than that but I am going to call him first thing tomorrow morning to verify. I was thinking it might be my waterpump but the car only has 50k on it so I'd be surprised if that was it. Any insight? Thoughts? All are appreciated.
TIA
Ben

Since your heat is gone:
1. Check to make sure fan goes on
2. Bleed coolant system
3. Check thermostat
Do you have another temp gauge besides the one on the OEM cluster?
The heater problem would mean that hot coolant isn't getting to the heater core (blockage, fan doesn't come on, or the heater core is bad.
It seems odd that this happened all the sudden. What exactly did this tuner do? Was anything in the coolant system changed?

Re: Retuned. Now running warm and no heat... thermostat??
Well we capped off some coolant lines because I was going to go from a 35r to a journal bearing turbo that was only oil cooled. I ended up going with a gt3040r so we then put new coolant lines back in so the coolant was drained and refilled. I'm thinking after a little more research it may be an air bubble and/or the thermostat. Since my overflow was empty if the radiator went to suck coolant from the overflow and sucked air instead, that could cause some problems.

1.) fan does come on
2.) doing first thing tomorrow

I would assume it's air in the system then. It could be the thermostat, but since the coolant was redone, I'd bleed the system first.
