Still losing coolant and overheating after 3 radiators?
I have a 00 civic hatchback, i just swapped a poor mans itr in there. After I put it in, i drove around the block after the car was warmed up all the way. My motor started over heating. I saw hella steam come out the radiator, so the next day i replaced it with a different one. Same thing happened again, so i was assuming I bought a cracked one, so I bought another one, and the same thing happened again for the 3rd time. So I'm guessing either i'm having bad luck with buying a radiator, or maybe it could be something else. Does anyone know what else it could be?

Re: radiator problem?
coming out top of the radiator. it could be that, or maybe my thermostat is closed? i just asked my buddy, and he told me that could be another reason. i'm gonna replace the thermostat today and hopefully that will fix the problem

bleed the air from the system. bleeder valve is on the port that the top radiator hose attaches to on the engine. loosen it with the engine running, let air out until coolant is a steady squirt, then close it. test drive and repeat.

he's got an ek hatch, they dont come with bleeder valves.
park your car up on an incline with the rad cap off with the climate to full heat and blast it
let the fan come on x2 before squeezing the excess air out of the top rad hose. close the rad up and take it for a test run, and come back

If you dont have access to a hill, you can do what I do and use a jack to jack the front end up. Also make sure you dont have a blown head gasket. When I had a blown head gasket steam came from my radiator cap also.
