I have the autometer shift lite but for some reason it doesn't work above 4500 rpm. I ahve a pill kit from 6800-7400 and none of the pill will lite up. but the test pill works fine and if i put in on 6 cylinder mode so it will come on at 4500 it works. but if i put it on 8 cylinder mode so it comes on at 6000 it doesnt. and none of my pills work either. anyone have any ideas why?!?!

i think im not getting the required voltage to the shift lite at the higher rpms, so im going to try to rewire it.. btw what do you have the signal (rpm signal) wire hooked to?

The Autometer unit requires the control box-which you buy separately. Also you need to connect the unit to the BLUE wire on the distributor for the best signal. The box is available from Summit along with your choice of PLLs, extra cables and light units.
