Default shiftlite

hey, i have a shift i want to wire it into gauge straight i looked at teamintegra one couldnt figure it out i need some help that shows it step by step exactly here is the picture of the one i bought



and the wire looks like this

Actually, you have a tachometer.

See those little pills? 7.7, 6.4, etc? Thats your rpm trigger. So essentially it's a simple tachometer with a big shift light.

So you need to wire it the same way you would wire a tach. Insert the rpm pill and that is when your light will trigger.

Now if you have a straight shift light...just the light...then it will not work with a stock tach. You need the one with the pills so it knows with to activate.

but the problem is i didnt get those yellow tabs :/ only the shiftlite with just a wire lol from modacar

So.. It only has 2 wires coming out of the light? If it does, then you bought the wrong light, as you would also need the tachometer to plug the light in. I think the light you were looking for is the "ProLite" shift light.

If the shift light has 3 wires coming out, red(power), black(ground), and green(rpm signal), then you would wire it the same way as the video showed you minus the white wire.

Yeah, you bought the wrong light. That thing will only work with a tach with a shift light input.
