Default performance question

So far i have a v2 intake and tomorrow i am ordering evo2 exhaust and dc headers. I was wondering what else i could do to see good gains in hp(besides boost)? Would it be worth it for me to get hondata or some other kind of chip? just looking for some suggestions...sorry if this sounds kind of noob haha cause thats what i am

There is a thread in the FAQ part at the top of this forum that has all this type of information.

If you are set on going with dc headers, think about modifying the collector to 2.5"

Think things through. Once you do these mods, will you be satisfied? Is that all you want to do? If you want to build a lot more power, you will need a better header than dc and a 2.5 exhaust system.

You would understand what he was talking about if you did search. Search for h22 header or header question... anything like that will help you out. There are posts like yours once every two hours. You must understand that if you frequent this site, it gets old seeing the SAME questions at the top of every page in each forum. The best way to use h-t is to search and read and read and read, and learn and read...etc... and if you have questions on the way, pose them, and we'll help you out. We are not just here to please people who would rather ask than do any research themselves.

Tell you the truth, h22a4's will not give you the power you crave. The engine is simply not big enough for a 3000 pounder.

horrible reply.... Yes, the big block of honda 4 cylinders (excluding the tsx) is not big enough to make the power you crave. Very ignorant statement. Good job

I know what your original post was because I read it. I am just saying that there are plenty of answers out there to the questions you asked in your post and that you should spend a little time sifting through this site to find what you are looking for, and then ask some questions about stuff if something seems unclear.

There is plenty of power to be made with the h22. You will realize that once you start looking around.
