Default DC Headers

I want to purchase some a new exhaust header for my 97 Ls integra. I am looking at DC headers because they seem to be well liked and promoted by other people in this forum. My question is what is the difference (in the two piece 4-2-1's) between ceramic headers and non-ceramic ones? If the ceramic ones are more head resistant, isn't that better? and if so why are they almost 100$ cheaper? What is the difference in performance between the two??? someone please fill me in so I can make an educated purchase. thankyou

Compare something that is ceramic coated and something that is stainless steel and you'll see.

If you're just going for performance, get the ceramic and save your money. If you can look at a stainless and ceramic header you will see the difference. It is in materials (mild steel vs. stainless steel). The difference can be seen in the durability of the product.

If you live where things tend to rust, go stainless. If not, I say go ceramic.
