Stay away from FAKE Turbo looking stuff, buy an AEM Cold air intake and call it a day!

There are a couple "VTEC controllers" on the market.
APEXi VAFCII(best IMO)
Jackson Racing V-Pac(Expensive Fields?)
Fields VTEC controller(Worth it for an awesome price, but what isn't?)
They control air/fuel and VTEC engagement point. They are worthwhile if you have them tuned on a Dyno.

To my knowledge, the 4-1 is gaged more for top-end power and the 4-2-1 is more for low and mid range power.

this is the only track slips i could find. u might notice that the date says Feb 2000. well it should be Feb 2003. clown boy is right about me practicing my launches, it sucks to say the least. but to be fair it was probably my 6th try at the track and the first w/ nos installed. ill get better down the line. some helpful HT members pointed out my mistakes and i well improve. i wish i knew how to upload videos of my races to further prove the credibility of track slips and of what i post. but anyways thats that about my track times. also i would like to apologies to the member that originally created this post for derailing off the subject. my bad.

this is how i setup up the jet on my prelude

here is my nos jet setup. im squeezing a 60 shot of nos. its a dry system(wish i got a wet system instead). why is the nos feed-line far away from the throttle body you may ask. well i read an old performance book from Joe Petite and it was suggested to place the nos feed-line three feet away from the throttle body so the gas could have more time to cool off the intake charge. well i contacted the nos people and they said this was a bad idea because a lot of gas was being injected while the nos was traveling thru the intake track. im debating if this necessarily bad. ill probably dyno both ways and see the difference.

with a fifty shot of nos you dont need to upgrade anything(except for gas) but just make sure that ignition, fuel delivery, and so on is up to par and dont advance the timing at all. ....i got the dry system for under 500 bucks and well worth the price.... another benefit is that you use nos only when you want to. so you dont strain the engine consistantly(i.e. turbo). so it is ideal for a daily driver, IMO. well i hope i was helpful. lates.

it doesn't have to be, I think ZEX makes a setup that I saw at SEMA that sprayed into the filter of a ram air intake

well yea accordin to the instruction.... but like i said b 4 i read(in a performance book) that it has advantages placin the nos feedline away from the tb... but i mean i cant confirm this until i dyno the lude and compare the #'s or if i find some dyno plots that prove this or not... but ill go to a dyno sometime next week or so and ill post my findin good or bad

I recently go to thinking that I might get some N2Oand I was wondering what was a safe spray to go for that would give me a good boost but minimal damage on stock internals???
2. Also what should I get with the kit?
3. New fuel pump?
4. and how much more speed should I expect from x amount shot?
5. O and Ive been looking at the ZEX kits and they say it activates itself when at full throttle.
6. Is there a way to change it?
7. and make it so its either at full throttle or at the push of a button?
8. And how much am I lookin for once installed?
</TD></TR></TABLE>
1. 75 shot
2. For a 50 shot you'd just need colder plugs, for the 75 shot pick up an ignition that will allow you to retard the timing(ie. MSD dig 6). Also get a purge kit and a bottle heater.
3. Not unless you are going over a 75 shot.
4. 50 shot = 1 second off your et
5. That's pretty much any kit.
6. only if you want to blow the motor.
7. see 6
8. If you can't install a nitrous kit yourself then you have no buisness running nitrous. Expect around $1k for everything.
