does dry nitrous equal backfire??

i know about the build up but i read some places saying dry is safer than wet but than others say diff so im just trying get more opions... i know the wet gives fuel and nitrous which can puddle up excess fuel and nitrous and cause backfire ... and dry shoots just nitrous... in all is anyone running a zex dry kit? is the zex dry kit safe?
Wet single fogger equals nitrous backfire. It takes nitrous and gasoline to create combustion even if that combustion occurs in your intake manifold.
I ran a Zex dry kit with a 75 shot on my D16 for at least 2 years with no problems.

Correct me if I am wrong, doesnt lugging the engine cause the mixture to puddle, so as long as you are up in the rev range and only engaging WOT, the chances of a backfire are slim to none.

correct!
First hand experience with several nitrous setups. to be honest, the safest and easiest hookup was the zex. I ran it for over 6 months, probably 9 or 10 bottles went by with no problems. NX kit had a couple of intake backfires. pretty scary thing ha.
to help correct the problem of intake backfires on a nitrous setup, don't run it in 5th gear or anything below 4000rpm.
if you run nitrous in 5th gear, just plan on rebuilding your motor too.
buddy of mine for ***** and giggles wanted to see how fast 5th gear pulled on a 75 wet shot ls/vtec... well, turned out we ended up seeing how quick we could pull the motor

You can run it as low as 3k until redline. Just don't hit the rev limiter or misshift.

what happens when misshift? lol yea its non vtec sohc 1.6... just waiting till winter get laid off so can build up motor for summer again... how it feel with nitrous from 55 shot and up? i never been in car with nitrous or used it, i bought it cause got it at deal..
where do people usually purge at? i was reading onto intercooler to cool it down quick before run.... would help any to get purge into intake filter on turbo? or into turbo screen to cool it down?

No you purge into the open atmosphere. If you purge into your intercooler or turbo before a run your spraying your engine with alot of nitrous at idle.
