I take the code 36 part then

code 36 if for the traction control option found on JDM vehicle. It is a ghost code and does not affect drive ability of the vichile. It only shows up when you jump for codes. If you want more info just do a search, there are a ton of threads on that code.

well, actually that only the way to tell that your P13 is JDM, the way you tell your engine is JDM is if it has H22A stamped on the block

Just curious, the fact that this motor came with an LSD tranny have anything to do with code 36 ? Or is this something found on all H22A JDM ECU?

no, your ecu has 4 plugs unlike the normal p13 that only has 3. the forth plug actually goes off the the computer added traction control which i believe is on accord (dont quote me on the accord part)

I have an M2B4 (JDM LSD) tranny and I never received Code 36. I ran the JDM P13 for nearly a month and only got an EGR, even when jumping the service connector.

EDIT: That is, if you have a three plug ECU.

thats correct you only get the code 36 if you have the 4 plug p13, it was not an option for the 3 plug model
