I just swapped my 93 prelude si from an h23a1 to a jdm h22a and its throwin a CEL code but the code its throwin is a 24, i've looked in all kinds of books, online, everything and there is no code 24!!! anybody have any guesses?

yup, followed the books and everything, 2 long blinks, and 4 short ones, then a long pause, and repeat...

 

Double check it and then try another ECU...maybe a junkyard would have one...

 

Are you sure it's not code 2 and 4

 

I've tried 2 other p13 ECU's and they do the same thing, and I'm positive its not a code 20 and a code 4 because theres a short gap between all of the flashes and then one long one, then it repeats. occasionally, the ECU's will freak out and throw a bunch of other codes too, so far, I've gotten, 11,12,13,14,20,21,22,23, and 24. I get 24 the most often though.

try and borrow a camera, they will have someone host it for you

ok, apparently the whack job that did the wiring fucked up a bunch of stuff. got it all sorted out and finally found the plug for the diagnostic tool which someone buried behind my stereo. plugged it in and its sayin its the IACV and the air intake temp sensor so I'll get those figured out and then see what it does.
