trouble with cel code

Default trouble with cel code

i have 95 cx with a ls/vtec, car is running strong but throwing a code 77. did a search and cant find anything for this. i double, and tripled checked it. its 7 long blinks and 7 short blinks. its running on a chipped p28. thanks in advance!

you have to be counting it wrong
there is no code 77, or anything above 65 for that matter on a OBDI car, as far as i know.

i know that is what has got me so confused. the only thing not hooked up is the o2 sensor, but its not even throwing a code for that.

Have you tried to reset the ECU to see if the code comes back? There is no code 68, are you sure it's not throwing code 6 then code 8?

I was having same problem...open your dizzy and check the little pieces in it to see if they are bent or coroded...I'm pretty sure 68 is cylinder misfire.....a spark plug not getting spark at a random time...I bent one back...cleaned corosion...and b16 is running like a dream
