today i was driving on the freeway and i downshift to 4th and i hear sudden pop coming from the transmission.

Now it wont go into gear at all when the car is on, but when its off it goes into gear fine.

Is my clutch bad or is it something else?

Doubt it's your clutch, sounds like your transmission. You need a new 3rd + 4th gear syncro set

 

I think it is your clutch. All the synchros don't go bad at the sametime.

yeah you popped a spring in the clutch plate. Time for a new clutch/pressure plate/flywheel
